Dr. Tracey Sims, MA MB Bchir (Cantab) MRCPCH DRCOG DFFP
Tracey was born and bred in the North West. She undertook medical training at The University of Cambridge from where she graduated in 1997. She trained in paediatrics on the East Anglia rotation which included posts at Addenbrooke's Teaching Hospital, Cambridge, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Tracey gained MRCPCH in 2001 and then moved back up north to be close to family and train as a GP on the Wirral. After qualifying as a GP in 2004, Tracey worked as a salaried GP for seven years before becoming a director of Greenfields Medical Chambers in 2011. She enjoys travelling and has worked with mentally ill adults in Calcutta, India, and with women and children in rural South Africa. Tracey has particular interests in Women and Children's health and in mental health and has undertaken a cognitive behavioural therapy attachment at the Department of Psychology, St Catherine's Hospital, Birkenhead. Tracey is married and has two lively children. She is always ready to take on a challenge - anything from pottery painting to sky diving!

  Dr. Fairoz Miller, BSc MB BCh MRCP MRCGP
Fairoz graduated from University of Wales College of Medicine in 1994. She gained her MRCP in 1999 and then after a stint as a rheumatology registrar, she went on to qualify as a GP in 2004. She did her GP training on the Wirral. After a year as a teaching fellow in the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Liverpool and gaining her MRCGP she worked for two years with Liverpool PCT and then has mainly locummed on Wirral and in Liverpool. She has qualifications in acupuncture and diploma in NLP. She is very keen on postgraduate education and has organised the Wirral First 5 group on behalf of the RCGP for a year. She co-founded Greenfields Medical Chambers in 2011. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, organising camping trips and reading when she gets a few moments to spare.

  Dr. John Burns, MBChB (Hons), MRCGP, DRCOG, DPD
Dr, Burns graduated from Liverpool University in 2001- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours. Dr. Burns has travelled extensively, experiencing different cultures and customs. He is a family man but still finds time to play the guitar, whilst enjoying a wide variety of music. He also enjoys reading and swimming, and attending the gym.

  Dr. Henry Luff, MBChB
Dr. Luff graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013. He enjoys cycling and playing most racquet sports, particularly squash. He is a keen follower of football and supports Liverpool Football club.

  Dr. Catherine Colquhoun, BSc (hons), MBChB, MRCGP
Dr. Colquhoun recently moved back to her home town of Chester from Stoke on Trent, where she was a partner in a busy Medical Practice. Catherine lives with her family in Chester in her spare time she enjoys swimming and photography.

  Dr. Bibi Faatimah Somauroo, MBChB MRCGP
Dr. Somauroo went to university in Liverpool qualifying with an MBChB in 2007. She has two beautiful daughters aged three and six who keep her on her toes outside of work. To relax and relieve the stresses of being a working mum, Dr. Somauroo loves to nurture her garden.

  Dr. Aurooj Naz Saleem, MBBS MRCGP DFSRH
Dr Aurooj Saleem completed her medical training at Dow Medical Colledge,Univrsity of Karachi, Pakistan. Then she took a career break to look after her family and started training back at Arrowe Park hospital in 2007. She gained her MRCGP in 2012 and since then worked as salaried GP in Wirral and Liverpool. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children; and walking activities.

  Dr. Karen Lucy Griffiths, MB BCh MRCGP DFFP MSc
Karen graduated from University of Wales College of Medicine in 1995. She completed her GP training in 2000. She has GP experience in diering demographics across the UK, and also has been fortunate to live and work in Kenya and California. Her hobbies (when not running around after her two young children) include golf, pilates, hiking and reading.

  Dr Heather Fearon, MB ChB JCPTGP DFFP
Dr Fearon has lived in the North West of England for all of her life. She Qualified at Liverpool Medical school 1988 and always knew she wanted to be a GP. Her training was completed on the Wirral with Hospital rotations at Arrowepark and Clatterbridge Hospitals, and GP training at Wallasey and Rock Ferry. She qualified as a GP in 1993 worked as a Partner in a Training Practice in Runcorn from 1993 until September 2017, before becomming a GP locum. Her interests include cooking, dog walking, travel, fitness and Yoga, and seeing family and friends.


  Teresa Sims
Teresa was born and brought up in the North West, and has a wealth of experience in both business and local Government. She and her husband Geoff, co-founded a very successful design agency, servicing the supermarkets and major food manufacturers. Teresa has been actively involved in local Government for many years and was privileged to have been the Mayor of her borough in 2006/7. She is a natural choice to be the Greenfields Chambers Director and is the first point of contact for any issues regarding Greenfields. She is cool in a crisis and deals with all issues swiftly and always with good humour.
